All six work — different muscles. Flashcards is the gentlest. Type and Cloze push harder.
Why these cards?
Each card lives in one of five "boxes" based on how confidently you know it. Box 1 cards come back the next day; box 5 cards come back in two weeks. The Daily Mix surfaces whichever cards are scheduled for today — across all chapters. You don't have to decide what to study, just show up.
How spaced repetition works
You don't learn 1,976 words by drilling them all every day. You learn them by seeing each word again right before you'd have forgotten it. Cards you nail move into higher boxes and come back less often. Cards you miss come back tomorrow. That's it.
Practically: pick a chapter, work through Flashcards, then come back the next day and hit Daily Mix. The app picks what's due — you just keep showing up.
